Program Overview

Table for Four is a curated mentorship initiative that connects one hospitality industry professional with three hospitality-curious students over a hosted meal. Designed to foster meaningful dialogue in an intimate setting, the program creates space for honest conversation, professional insight, and authentic connection.

Our students represent a wide range of academic disciplines—including business, marketing, recreation, analytics, design, and other fields that intersect with hospitality—reflecting the multi-disciplinary nature of today’s industry. Each participant shares a genuine interest in hospitality as a mindset and career pathway, even if their major is outside a traditional hospitality program.

For industry leaders, Table for Four offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with students—sharing career experiences, industry perspectives, and practical guidance with students preparing to enter their field. Conversations often explore leadership lessons, evolving industry trends, career pathways, and the skills that matter most in today’s career landscape.

By stepping outside the structure of traditional networking events, Table for Four allows professionals to build genuine relationships while helping shape the next generation of hospitality leaders. The Institute hosts and covers the cost of the meal, making participation simple and focused entirely on conversation and impact.
