Table for Four: building stronger communities

November 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Hospitality can go beyond a business. It’s about understanding people, building relationships, creating opportunities, and making the communities around us stronger. Join us for a conversation with three leaders whose careers demonstrate how hospitality-minded thinking can make an impact across hotels, nonprofits, sports, philanthropy, and community development.

Kai Han – Industry Relations Manager at the J.W. Marriott, Jr. Institute

Kai Han brings more than 25 years of experience in the Salt Lake City hotel industry, including roles in front desk operations, sales, revenue management, and marketing. As the former Director of Sales & Marketing at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, Kai developed deep expertise in the Salt Lake hospitality market and in the data, strategy, and relationship-building that drive successful businesses.

Adam White – Development Director at Spy Hop Productions

Adam White brings a different perspective on hospitality and community impact. At Spy Hop, a youth media arts organization serving young people across Utah, Adam leads fundraising, corporate and foundation partnerships, revenue strategy, and organizational initiatives that help sustain free programs in film, music, audio, and design. His career spans nonprofit operations, philanthropy, community advocacy, and organizational growth, with a particular interest in human-centered leadership and building creative communities.

Trisha Worthington – Chief Revenue Officer at U.S. Ski & Snowboard

Trisha Worthington has nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, partnerships, and community building. Her career has included leadership roles with the Park City Community Foundation and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team Foundation, including work connected to the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Today, she leads teams responsible for significant fundraising and commercial partnership efforts, bringing together strategy, relationships, and revenue to support athletes and the broader sport community.

Whether you’re interested in hospitality, business, sports, nonprofits, marketing, philanthropy, or simply finding ways to make a difference through your career, this conversation is an opportunity to see how skills like relationship-building, communication, leadership, and understanding people can travel far beyond a single industry.
